Off the heels of female reporters, female journalists, female members of the media being called into question in terms of their integrity. That's not salacious. That's not hot taking. That's not anything problematic, right? I mean it's a hot mic, so again they weren't aware that they were being recorded, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Let's go. Lucky he's so fine, huh? He lucky he's so fine King's reporter on record caught on tape saying Ben Simmons is so fine.

He's a good looking dude. I didn't notice like A quick cosign from the other King's female reporter. Wait, so now she's she is more infatuated by Ben Simmons because he has no tattoos Your was your title. Allegedly I like light skins, I guess. Jordan. King's reporter, I guess I like light skins, I guess. Boom.

Now we gotta call into question the ethnicity of this reporter. Oh I think his personality annoys the shit out of me. So that's what makes him know he is that he's a I don't look like an I So now they're talking about Zach Levine. I remember when you came in, they didn't look old man. Yeah, exactly. So let's let's let's recap this, right? So They call Ben Simmons cringe.

At least that's the assumption. He's now making it across the board for all the UCLA guys and that's a subtle shot at Russell Westbrook.

Russy was just being Russy But Russy was out there in Sacramento and he was going back and forth with multiple reporters out there in Sacramento. He's a UCLA guy. Zach Levine's a UCLA guy. And here's a reporter saying that's how all the UCLA guys are Zach Levine is beautiful I mean much much I mean support much love and support for Zach Levine regardless of the fact that he clearly does not want to be there.

He is only there for a check. He has not played well in this what second go-round with the Kings? But that don't matter to these female reporters. They all about what he looked like. Who's here today? Yeah. I think that should be I think I've actually I think I've talked about it.

And a lot of people, a lot of people within the media try to isolate it as just a Diana Roussini thing. Even though if you're in the know, and I know for a fact that there was definitely more instances of not just Diana Roussini being in the mix with Vrabel, but Diana Roussini and other Women in the media were in the mix with other coaches in prior stops. If you know, you know, if you want to do your Googles or your Duck Duck Go's, it's right there for you. So we're coming off the heels of that where female journalists are under a certain ire, a certain eye of attention, which has always kind of low-key been the case because it's always been that dynamic of usually attractive women in the media in accordance to these athletes and these coaches and there's always been a w wary eye in terms of you know when those lines get crossed and blurred And now we have the latest example of a Diana Roussini who literally was caught out there, and people are alleging that's that the two children that she has aren't even her husbands, that they're Mike Vrabels. It got to that point.

The extremism, the story was so polarizing and the hot takes were going so crazy with the rumors flying rampant that it got to the point that people were questioning the legitimacy. Of her marriage in the in the children conceived within that marriage. Now we have two more, at minimum, two more female reporters that are openly But again, they were on a hot mic. They didn't know they were being recorded. But we have two female reporters out here talking about the players that they're going to have to cover. The players that they're perceived to be unbiased in doing their reporting. If you think Ben Simmons is cute, or fine, if you think Zach Levine is cute, is your coverage of them going to be any different than any other player who you don't find attractive I know you didn't expect to start with Sacramento Kings Media Day, but That just hit the timeline and this is timeline Tea.

I'm bringing you the freshest information straight from the timeline. That's going to be a thing. And once these reporters are identified, it's going to be an even deeper thing because the fact that a reporter could say, I guess I got a thing for light skins. If she is not of the black diaspora, that's going to be a fat Joe type of situation. Because what you mean, light skins? Yeah, Media Day. It's a thing.

Dylan Stewart has been suspended from the team indefinitely, Shane Beamer announced.

Now, if you didn't catch it over the weekend, uh South Carolina was getting their doors blown off by Alabama and ended up fighting, fighting, punching a player multiple times. He walked off. He was trying to get they were trying to sub him out the game. He refused to come out the game. And he was seen talking back to coaches on the sideline. So everyone brings their hellfire and brimstone upon Dylan Stewart and just see again. This is another example why we need this Fugazi bill that Ted Cruz and Saban and Ya mans Prime out there in Boulder are championing.

This is why we need this, because we need to control keyword there, we need to control the Dylan Stewart's of the world. Dylan Stewart is making allegedly two million dollars in NIL money And South Carolina thinks that they can levy punishment upon this man that can hurt this man. This man's getting $10 million. Excuse me, $2 million. Now he burst onto the scene as a freshman was very impactful, and now is looking like this is gonna be his last go-around at South Carolina anyway Two mil a year, or at least two mil this year. He's still gonna be, I think, if he's not a top ten pick anymore. If this is what holds teams back from drafting him, they're silly.

But In essence, a top 10 pick went to South Carolina. Do you think a top a top 10 pick, a potential top 10 pick would ever choose South Carolina if it wasn't money attached? Do you think Jadavian Clowney all them years ago? Do you think he chose to go to South Carolina because of the fact that it was South Carolina? Do you think all these stars that end up at these random colleges are less n they're still power five, but the mid-tier or even lower tier power five? Do you think they choose those schools because they really want to go to those schools? Or is it because there's a bag attached to it?

Sure, there could be other variables, playing time, system, fit you know, my high school coach now magically is an assistant coach at this university. Sure, all that type of stuff can sway. To get a recruit. But more times than not, especially over the last 20 years, minimum 20 years, it's about you got a bag for me or not? So the fact that South Carolina thinks that they could just, you know, we're gonna suspend him from the team, what's that gonna do? He's already proven his stock. I still feel he's a top 10 talent, regardless of what happened on Saturday.

If you want a game-changing, game-wrecking defensive end. You liked what you saw on Saturday. Now is it? Is it a is it a red flag? For sure Is it a red flag enough that he's off my draft board or he's now a high at that at the most a second round pick? Hell no. Hell no.

But this goes into the notion of NIL. This goes into the notion of the Protect Color Sports Act. This is why they're doing it because they feel as though this system Created the Dylan st the Dylan Stewarts of the world and has empowered the Dylan Stewart of the world. And that's why college sports and college football specifically has run them up. Not with the understanding that there's always been Dylan Stewart's at every level. And it doesn't matter. It absolutely positively does not matter You think that bill that Ted Cruz is pushing is gonna stop a school like South Carolina who thinks they who thinks and knows they have to compete?

To remain in the SEC? You think that they're not gonna go out there and give another player two million dollars? The system is the wow wow west right now and they still gave Dylan Stewart two million dollars when they didn't have to. But they want to win, and they want to win at all costs, despite the narrative of student athletes By paying someone like Dylan Stewart, who I'm sure, I mean he's had instances throughout his short tenure at South Carolina. He had a thing with Jackson Dart. He's he's had red flag type instances the entirety of his run there. And nothing has stopped them from continuing to allow him to flourish because at the end they're trying to win games.

And that's what these universities and these colleges need to have that transparency. Because they're gonna rely on the sanctity of college football. They're gonna rely on the sanctity of amateurism. They're gonna rely on the sanctity of being located in the Bible belt. It tried to leverage that as a all shucks. We didn't know that this player was this level. No, you knew.

And you offered him a scholarship and you offered him two million on top of that anyway. Because you want to win. Because when you win, that means what? That means you get bread. What happens when you get bread? You're allowed to upgrade your facilities. And when you upgrade your facilities, that allows for what?

More players. Which rinse and repeat more good players, potentially more wins. More wins means what? Means more money and revenue because you're advancing deeper Into your conference championship and into the actual NCAA uh CFB, CFP championship. So all the incentives are there for you to continue to pay the Dylan Stewards of the world. But they're not going to tell you that. They're gonna sell you on the fact that student athletes come first.

We need to protect rowing. We need to protect lacrosse. When we all know what it really is at this level of university. If you're in a power five, it's about your football andor basketball program. Maybe even baseball will sneak that in, depending on the school, and then everything else trickles down after that No matter what. There's no way around it. The system is built as such because the media rights dictate that.

If the meteorites all of a sudden were dropping big bread into college rowing, then the programs would shift. And all of a sudden those facilities would go crazy. Those NIL deals would go crazy. But that ultimately comes back to the fan. These media rights are predicated off of who What are the casual and the diehard going to watch and watch in troves If college track and field was lit, if it was popular, the bread would be trickling down over there. But it's not. And that's why athletes have to have to go over there to the diamond league and try to get it off.

The fan watches football, basketball, and then baseball in that order when it comes to college sports. So those are going to be the revenue generating parts of every school that's worth a damn in a power five. And that's not going to change no time soon. So the notion that they think they can, you know, suspend Dylan Stewart and it's going to be so impactful, and this is another catalyst of why the Protect College Sports Act needs to be a thing, it's nonsense. It's nonsensical. Because there is nothing from this that nothing in the Protect College Sports Act is going to protect a school like South Carolina Paying $2 million to a future Dylan Stewart type personality a year from now. Absolutely nothing.

Because the schools know, and this is the dirty secret, the school knows if we don't sign him, somebody else will. And that somebody might be somebody in our conference, and now we got to deal with that player. Absolutely insane in the world of college sports. What else we got? Uh let's get to some NBA. So the Clippers found out Brandon Ingram has a partially torn Achilles tendon. That's a big deal.

But I'm not gonna go too crazy on that for right now. I don't think that really matters in the grand scheme of things. The main thing is that They knew that they had to get him in terms of Kawhi up out of LA, and they were willing to take whatever they could in return. And if that means a broken Brandon Ingram, then so be it. They had to turn the page and move on from the Kawhi Leonard era. Uh but let's get to your man's LeBron. So LeBron, LeBron was talking during Media Day, Sixers released all their footage.

All their media day press pictures and all that type of stuff. But LeBron has to make a headline because of course LeBron's gonna say the thing. And the thing that LeBron said Is that LeBron James initially planned to join the New York Knicks this offseason before they won the NBA championship? Now, during Rich Paul's greatness of the whiteboard during LeBron's free agency chase, the Knicks were on that whiteboard. So this is just reaffirming or confirming what Rich Paul had already told us during NBA free agency. LeBron didn't tend or was seriously considering the Knicks. If they hadn't won the NBA championship.

But of course, LeBron has to do the thing of he was asked about it. And let's see if we can pull that sound up. Okay, this is LeBron Talking about the Knicks. You know, I have visions of definitely, you know, playing in the garden, finishing my career in the garden, one of one of the best places I've ever played. I think it's the number one arena in the world as far as a basketball player. Um But after they after they beat San Antonio, I was like I c I couldn't do it. Wouldn't feel right.

He faced a lot of talk in regards to his personality. Um I think a lot of things were said about Jalen Brown in the media that he wants he wanted to push back against. He pushed back against those things in real time on his live stream and stuff like that. But on Media Day, he was asked about you know all this stuff from over the summer and he wanted to get into it even more. I have the sound, I just want to pull up the actual tweet so we have that visual reference. So Jalen Brown, who is uh outspoken, he's more he's closer to NBA new media as opposed to what you know the habitual nut hitter Draymond Green thinks he is. Like the notion that Let me just pull this tweet up.

No, I'll I'll let Jalen Brown say it. Let's let Jalen Brown get his shit off and I will have to get at him because I think he's saying something that Again, sometimes smart people really try hard to sound more smarter than what they actually are, and it doesn't come across as smart. What's the word I would use? I would say concerning, uh maybe a little bizarre. Definitely some undertones there. Colin Coward said uh I had a disease Or his source that I had a disease. I don't know what that was about.

But, you know, I think, you know The part about the sources that I feel like is important is just you kind of lose the you lose the the intentionality of like the integrity of reporting once that kind of slips. So I understand like great things have come from anonymous sources, but there has to be some type of balance and that's all that's all I'm speaking to. So again, that sounds like a strong point. It sounds like he's getting at the cow and cow herds of the world, the hot tickets of the world, and just the whole notion of what an insider actually is. And there is something there. He's just not saying, he's just not going about it the right way. Or not even the right way.

I don't think he's going about it in the most accurate of ways Because people have sources. The insider industry is built upon having sources. The reason why these people are sources is because they can't go on a record and give you the information and make it public record. So they funnel the information to people that they know can put the right spin on it, put the right push on it. And painted in a way that benefits them as the source and absolves them from any um having to accept any accountability on their end, right? So the whole note of Of hey, you know, you need to call your sources out or tell us who your source is. It doesn't work that way It doesn't work that way.

That is journalism one-on-one, that is reporting one-on-one. That's someone that, you know, went to school for journalism and got multiple degrees in journalism. That's not how that works. That is not how that works, Jalen Brown. I know you're mad because you were called into question And you want the people that said those things about you to say it with their chest. That's not how reporting works though Because and you notice at the end of that clip he said he knows anonymous sourcing has done good things that we can look no further than Pablo Torre Pablo Torre was given the T about the Hose Clippers thing from an anonymous source We don't get aspiration. We don't get all the emails.

We don't get any of that stuff if someone close to the situation didn't feed the info to Pablo Torre and then let him run with it. Clearly that person was too close or too inside or maybe not powerful enough to push it with their own voice. So they passed the information off to someone who was bigger, someone who was more known, someone who has probably the budgetary means to be able to put the money behind it to really flush this story out and then report it thoroughly. We don't get any of the clipper nonsense. Look, Kawaii is still a clipper today if that source didn't feed the info to Pablo Torre. So while Jalen Brown could be mad that Colin Cowherd said he had a disease, and that's true. Improper reporting, improper report, improper One is HIPAA, right?

Even if let's even is he saying that's not true, right? Even if it was true, that's violating HIPAA, right? So hard stop But the notion that Callan Cowherd should not be quoting a source or naming or so or should not be reporting information he got from a source Just because either A gets not true or B, you don't agree with it is ridiculous. Because Once upon a time, the skip bayls who has now had a resurgence and is now back on first take and he's doing stuff with Fraud A and he's teaming up with UNK and doing you know polymarket commercials and bullshit like that Skip Bayliss threw out there in a book and then claimed he had reporting and accurate sourcing on the fact that he was calling Troy Aikman gay. That's the real thing that happened. And he stood ten toes for a very long time And it made Troy Aikman have to like really go out there and try to fight the narrative because Skip Bayliss stood ten toes on it It was super problematic. But did that stop the four-letter network from hiring skip baylists?

Did that stop the foil four letter network from then empowering Skip Bayless who then linked up with Fraud A and the chemistry works and then they built a thing off of that And then we get the embraced debate culture that is still running to this day. Did the fact that Colin Cowh uh did the fact that Skip Bayliss went out there And said Troy Aikman was gay and stood ten toes when he was pressed. Did that stop him from the industry still accepting him and then promoting the hell out of him and making him a multi-million dollar star? within that industry. So Jalen Brown wants sourcing to be called out to question. If that's the case, that is violating every ethic and every code of journalism, of reporting, of media. You're only as valuable as your sources.

You can't be considered an insider if you don't have sourcing within all the organizations, within all the teams of the organizations. From your agents to your trainers to your PTs to all of that. If you don't have sourcing within that, you're not an insider We talked about Diana Roussini earlier. How do you think she became an insider? She was literally laying up with an NFL coach to become an insider because you need that information. If you don't have that information, you're not going to be considered an insider. She couldn't reveal that she was laid up with Mike Vrabel, and that's why she had all the tea on the Patriots all the time, or the Titans all the time She couldn't say that.

The conflict of interest would have been uh would have been apparent. Jalen Brown means well. He faced a firestorm of sorts in terms of the Celtics, ran a clear smear campaign on his way out the door. And they had their media friends within the industry co-sign and amplify. So it made it tough on Jalen Brown, so much so that he had to take it to stream to defend himself and to call out the hypocrisies. So kudos for you to defending yourself and empowering and building your own platform to do so where you go over the line in my opinion Is that you now are asking for people to name their sources and that is not how that works. Because if you got a piece of tea, if someone gave you info, if someone gave you real deal information, would you be willing to put that out there?

We hear about stuff all the time after the fact. We hear about teeth in the locker room years later on all these athlete pods after the fact. Are you, JB, willing to put that on the line and say it in real time? Are you ready to say what was really going on in Boston between you and Jason Tatum? Because some of us in the industry know, but are you really willing to say it? Are you really willing? Since you want to reveal sources, since you want everyone to be held accountable, since you want everyone's story to be above board, are you really willing to say what really went on in Boston with you and Tatum?

Yes, call out Callin how call out Colin Cowherd for saying you had a disease and he was inaccurate. Call him out for it. No one's disputing that, at least I'm not. But if you want everybody to stand tantos and name their sources and give up the real, when will you give up the real about what happened in Boston? MetLife has snatched another ACL. We are now upwards The running list from at least a season or two ago was in the 20s. I'll have to look this up after the stream. But we're now reaching a point where so many athletes have either torn ACLs or torn Achilles. At MetLife Stadium, if the NFL Players Union had any gumption, had any balls, they would find file a petition to ban players from playing on that surface. I mean the 49ers are playing near a substation. And players are falling down with injuries left and right That's a whole nother layer. That's a whole nother avenue that the NFLPA is not really talking a lot about.

This to me is a more direct issue. The Giants and the Jets with this stadium that they're splitting have a piss poor turf on this surface. And this piss poor turf has taken so many ACLs, so many Achilles. Assuming that's the plural of Achilles. That it's now, it's just it's not it's not when it's not if it's when it comes to it right now. When it comes to MetLife, I don't know how players play at MetLife because I would be nervous every time I make any type of cut on that turf that my knee is going to explode. Cause it's so commonplace I remember after that after Aaron Rodgers tore his knee up four plays in.

I had a similar type of take of just ranting and raving and I put that out there on what was what was then the China app on TikTok and I had more than one former NFL player hit me up and be like yeah that place is known like that place like we do not like playing on that surface Like the fact that the NFLPA has not said anything, to my knowledge Has not said anything in regards to this surface is unplayable. Why do you think the World Cup made sure they got that turf up out of there when they just came through for the World Cup? FIFA was not playing a as corrupt of an organization as you could be. I have been saying on this channel for a very for a very long time that the QB market is overrated and oversaturated and overvalued. It is extremely important to have a good quarterback.

It is extremely important to have a really good quarterback. It is not mandatory to have an elite quarterback if you're trying to win a championship. People assume that just because you have an elite quarterback. It makes your job that much more easier to win a championship when there's not a lot of history behind that. We've seen a lot of good quarterbacks win championships. We've seen a lot of really good quarterbacks win championships We've also seen a lot of elite or top-tier quarterbacks not win a damn thing But yet and still the prevailing notion is that you need a top-flight top-tier quarterback to win at a high level in the National Checkdown League. Well, because of that, the market has been overhyped and overvalued.

And if we look through the first couple of weeks, and again, super small sample size, but if we're just looking at The haves and the have nots when it comes to the QBs. This tweet is very telling and there's data to back it up. The QB's class has no middle class. You're either on a rookie deal or you're getting the max or something akin to the max What 50 mil a year is buying so far? You're looking at Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert, and Drew Locke So if we look at this in more concise way, let's bring this up bigger. And yep, let's see if we can zoom in. More?

No, I think that's the biggest we can get in. Okay. Alright, so we'll just use the screen here. So in terms of bargains, right? Zulac is a bargain. So this is what fifty million a year is buying Starting QBs in 2026, contract value per year versus value added per dropback. 50 plus dropbacks through week three.

So you can see here value added per dropback. It starts at minus 04 and it goes all the way to plus 06 in terms of value added per dropback With a sample size of at least 50 dropbacks. So you have four sections. You have bargains, worth every penny, paid like a star, cheap and struggling. Okay? Top tier bargain right now is Drew Locke. Through three games, 50 plus dropbacks.

Cheap and struggling. Big because again, if you look at Drew Locke, look at the money he's getting. I think he's only getting like two million a year. So the fact that he is high up on value added per drop back because of the fact that he's cheap and he's playing well That's where that goes, right? Aaron Rodgers is making more than 20 million a year and he's minus point four on value per drop back. But if you look at the QBs that are on this cheap side or bargain side, your Drew Locks, Bryce Young's on a rookie deal, Geno Smith, Caleb Williams is on a rookie deal Your man show or skio out there in New Orleans, rookie deal, Jaden Daniels, rookie deal, Kirk Cousins, a bagger of all baggetters, uh National Uh Check Down League, Business Hall of Famer, Jacoby Pursett. Making okay money, but not star money.

Stroud, I still believe he's on a rookie deal, right? Nick's rookie deal, Drake May, rookie deal, Cam Ward, rookie deal. So again, you're either a Journeyman vet or you're on a rookie deal. That's considered cheap. And then you got Malik Willis also there Aaron Rodgers at the end of his career, he's a journeyman at this point. So we're looking at journeyman or rookie QBs? Then you have everyone over, and this is still upwards of 20 plus mil, right?

But the midpoint, the average QB salary according to this list is around 32 million. There is nobody in that $32 million range. So that's why they're saying there is no middle class because you have everyone that is cheap. i. e. on rookie deals or journeyman contract deals, and then you have everyone who is paid like a star, which starts at 40 plus M's in a man's Danny Pennies, aka Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones is paid like a star, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life That he's been able to trick two franchises into paying him.

But he's getting upwards of forty plus million dollars in his value per dropback. Is almost negative 0. 2. So he's below average and he's getting paid 40 plus million a year. Nasty man, who has looked really good last two weeks. I know that contract is bad, but nasty man might actually be good again or close enough to being good again. That's another stream for another day.

He's making 40 plus M's He's right on the middle line 0. 0. So nasty man is giving you value Arguably, and for some not even arguable, arguably the worst contract in the NFL history And according to data, Nasty Man is providing actual value to the Cleveland Browns with this contract. Even with the contract. He is paid like a star, but he is breaking even in terms of value. Baker Mayfield paid like a star, fifty plus M's And only Aaron Rodgers is worse than him in value added per drop back. I'm giving you a lot of analytics, but it's mainly just focusing on the money And focusing on the fact that there is no middle class in the NFL, and this is why the market is broken.

And it was not Nasty Man's contract that broke the market. It was everyone jumping on the wave after Mahomes and Allen cashed in. Because some of those QBs that cashed in after Mahomes and Allen should not have cashed in. From a team perspective, calamari should have never been given a max back, even though they got him relatively on the cheap in comparison to other QBs, they still paid him extremely well. Without getting any value out of that. And ultimately had to move on from him. Looking at Jay Herbo, Justin Herbert.

He got the bag. Did they really need to give him the back? Because right now only Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield are better or worse So let's see for Herbert. Let me see that again. For Herbert, only Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield are worse in value added per dropback. And he's getting over 50 M's a year And just above them is your man's Joe Burrow and Jordan Love. So this cluster of paid like a star, but giving you below value or just bare minimum or The median, nasty man's giving you the median, and the following names are giving you below average value added per drop back.

Jordan Love, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, and Baker Mayfield Now worth every penny. You got Brock Purdy and Josh Allen at the top of the list. Right after that is Dak Prescott. After that, you have Trevor Lawrence, then Jared Goff, then Lamar, then Jalen Hurts, then Mahomes, then Stafford Who would have thunk it that two of the best deals Where they're worth every penny at the QB position would be Mr. Irrelevant and Brock Purdy In a fourth round QB in Dak Prescott, who got laid out right before the draft And Josh Allen, who looked like, who was trending towards being an all-time bust before Stefan Diggs came and helped resurrect him. The QB market it's overvalued The value you're getting is not is not relatable to the money you're paying these players. And y'all know me.

I am Mr. Pay These Players their money But as much as this league in this sport has had to has had to has tried to undersell their running back position And understate the running back position while in turn over-inflating the QB position. Because now that we see this, I want to see the wide receiver version of this list. It's probably even worse. There are going to be so many that are paid like a star, but aren't giving you the value. The wide receiver list or the wide receiver version of this would be extremely interesting. That's the next one I want to see Because you think this is bad where there's no middle class, the disparity is probably worse when it comes to receivers The alleged death of the running back has inflated numbers for quarterbacks and wide receivers.

And there's not a lot, because again, if we look at this, right? How many Super Bowls are in this worth every penny? Mahomes, Stafford, Hertz. That's it. And those are the ones that are at the bottom of worth every penny. Hertz, Stafford, Mahomes. Everybody else.

No Super Bowls. Purdy, Allen, Prescott, Lawrence, Goff, Lamar. Even if we go to paid like a star. Nasty Man, Jordan Love, Joe Burrow, Herbert, Daniel Jones, Baker. There's only one Super Bowl appearance amongst this group. An appearance, not even a ring, an appearance. But they're getting forty, fifty, almost damn near sixty M's a year Now these rookie QBs are going to be up next.

And after what you've seen from Drake May, you giving him that bread? Drake May went from an MVP candidate, which was foolish last year, to now people are questioning if they're gonna re-up him when it's time for his extension. And this is just through three weeks. He's looked that bad. But it has nothing to do with Drake May and all about the schedule that they played The Patriots played the easiest schedule in the entire league last year. I was screaming it from the mountaintops all last year. When folk was asking me, oh, the Patriots look good.

I'm like, yeah, of course they look good. They got an easy ass schedule. It was like the Giants years prior when Danny Dimes was a thing that one year with Dayball. I was telling it then. Yo, the Giants had the easiest schedule. The Eagles, that whole division, the whole NFC East. Had the easiest schedule in the league, and I think three of the four teams end up winning double-digit uh games that year.

Because the whole division had the easiest schedule in the league And it was the same thing for the Patriots last year. They had the easiest schedule in the league, and they had a cakewalk of sorts passed to the Super Bowl. None of that was because Drake May was so good, is because Drake May was taking advantage of a weak ass schedule. And now that they do not have the easiest schedule in the league, it's quite the opposite. Now he's getting his ass beat And he's looking like the Drake May that we saw prior to last year. But Cam Ward's been on the fire. Bo Nick's Strauss have been on the fire.

Jaden Daniels health is an issue. Caleb. Caleb looks to be the part Bryce Young has had his has had his ups and downs, certainly trending upward. I would say it I don't see a scenario where Drake May is gonna get re-upped. I think Cam War is gonna get re-uped, Bonix. I think all these QBs are gonna get re-upped and that's the problem. It's kind of like an automatic thing now.

You just get that automatic extension either in your fourth or fifth year. And you cash out. You get 200 plus M's, and you get about maybe 150 of it, 160 of it guaranteed, and you just keep it pushing to waiting for the next payday. And there's no real value proposition to where you have to earn anything. For a sport that wants all of its athletes to earn it. The QBs don't have to earn it. You just have to be drafted by the most by a desperate enough franchise The Titans have no choice but to re-up Cam Ward.

And his family should not be getting death threats. That's some real fandom. It's a mental illness thing, but Despite Cam Ward, the Titans have no choice but to re up. Unless they get a draft pick that falls into a spot that allows them that allows them to potentially draft his replacement, they have no choice but to Re up on Cam Mort. CJ Stroud, do the Texans really have an option to not re-up? Does Sean Payton have the balls to move on from Bonex? Bryce Young, the Panthers have seen flashes, and they're trying to put pieces around him to maximize them.

I don't think they have it in them to let him go. And then it's the level of how good are they? Like we know Mahomes is elite. I'm not going to call Jalen Hurts elite, but Jalen Hurts is really good. Stafford is still really good. Lamar Jackson to me is elite. Jared Goff is good.

Trevor Lawrence is borderline good to really good. Dak Prescott is really good. Josh Allen is really good. Brock Purdy is good. Can we make any definitive calls on any of these youngins? Drake May, is he even good? Is Cam Ward good?

Is Bo Nicks good? Are you ready to stand here today and say CJ Stroud is good? What about Jaden Daniels? You ready to say he's good? Show Scho out there with Norlins. He's starting to look good, but is he good? Caleb, I think we all think he's good, but is he really good or is he elite?

There is a difference. Bryce Young, he's starting to look good, but is he good, really good, or elite at that size? But you're gonna have to pay to play to find out. They have a lot of offensive firepower. the thing that they were missing was the QB position, play calling, coaching, all the things. And now that they got Penix finally back, they go into Lambo and beat a underachieving and oft injured Green Bay Packer team.

The Bills take care of the charges. The charges are 0 and 3. The horball curse continues. If you know, you know. I'll just put this here up on the screen You looking at the orange man with both of the Harbaugh brothers? If you're throwing Jackson Dart and the stuff that he did in the offseason with the Orange Man, are you surprised I am not? But anyway, the Bills.

This is more about the Bills than the Chargers. The Bills are looking like a team that should be a contender. They're looking like a team and playing like a team and winning the games that they need to win. to put themselves in position to be a contender. But the regular season doesn't really matter for Buffalo. It is all about the postseason. They can go and have the number one seed and that wouldn't be impressive to me.

For them to be impressive, it's what are you going to do in the postseason? Who are you going to walk through? The Browns. Hey, I hit one of the group chats and was like, hey man, what are the Browns gonna do if nasty man is actually good in or solid? What do you do if you're the Browns? The plan was he wasn't supposed to make it to even this game. The keys allegedly were supposed to be handed to Shador.

And never forget that Shador Sanders was called the most powerful black man since 2009 by Game's Kendrick Perkins. Never forget. Anywho, not only is Nasty Manda starting QB going forward, but they're two and one. Now again, does this now mean the Browns are for real? No, but it means hey nasty man who everyone including myself have had wrote off. He's washed, he's got nothing left, he's not actually good Guess what? They put some pieces around him.

A coaching staff that's worth a damn, allegedly. And all of a sudden he's making plays. He's actually healthy. And he's making plays Now he may not ever be what Dabo try to call him in terms of he's going to be the Michael Jordan of the NFL, but despite all the nastiness off the court, off the field The only thing we were going off of in terms of his on-field ability is what he has been showing us over the last couple of years, which has not been a lot But we saw it when he was in Houston. We saw it when he was at his peak in his prime in Houston. He is a really good QB when all things are working. And if we're now at a point where all the things are starting to work in Cleveland, Nasty Man's gonna be a good QB.

And as much as the diaspora is clamoring for Shidora to get a shot just for the spectacle of it all If Nasty Man is hoopin', guess who's getting the rock? Nasty Man. The Lions hang on for dear life and beat a feisty jet squad The Lions are paper champions. Um I think the run with that squad is over. They've peaked. They're going to be a good team because they're too talented to not be a good team. That front office is too damn good for them to have a bad roster.

But I think in terms of the whole Dan Campbell experience, I think he has peaked with this group I think they're winning games in spite of their head coach. Colts take care of the Texans. The Texans are in trouble. They're 0-3. CJ Stroud. A lot of people are quick to jump on CJ Stroud, but I went back and rewatched that game. A lot of that was not on CJ Stroud.

That offensive line which the Texans have tried to fortify through free agency, through the draft. They have just been never been able to really fortify that line good enough. They don't have a running game. Nico's out. All the guys that were supposed to help and surround Nico are not there or they're not i effective enough. They just don't have a good offense right now. I don't know if it's play calling.

I don't know if it's just being beset by injuries or a combination of the two, but It's just not a good offense. And I don't think there's any QB. You would love to have a QB just take a team on his shoulders and just go wing you games in spite of the offensive ineptitude. But the problem is that CJ Strauss not that. And that's not a knock on CJ Stroud, it just it is what it is. There's levels of good, there's levels of great, there's levels of elite. And we just talked about it.

I think CJ Stroud is good, but I don't know if he's really good. And he's not certainly not looking like elite. So if your QB is only good, you need to surround him with help. And that help includes the offensive line. That help includes coaches. That help includes a running game. And that is not existent for the Texans right now.

Chiefs go into South Beach and take care of the Dolphins. They're 3-0 You give Patrick Mahomes a running game. You give Mahomes a running back in Ken Walker. And it's not Tyreek Hill. It's not Tyreek Hill and Kelsey in their prime. But giving just a dynamic weapon in Ken Walker means so much to what Mahomes can do. It's just another added dimension, a dimension that's been missing from this offense The Giants and Jameis Winston take care of the Titans.

Cam Ward had a chance to win that game and just blew it. A lot of growing pains for that Titans bunch Robert Sala was trying to get it done against not necessarily his old team, but his old stadium. It's just an ugly, nasty game to watch. Red zone didn't touch on it too much for a good reason. Bango Stillers was an entertaining game, but these two teams are not threats at all. But again, good games. I think that was the theme of the day.

Good games, but a lot of teams that are not threats at all. um in terms of just what we're what we were witnessing. So Bengals Steelers, again it's the Bengals. They keep As much as the offense looks good, as much as, you know, T. Higgins is a monster, as much as Jamar Chase is a monster, and Joe Barrow, when he's upright, can fling the pill with the best of them. It still comes down to when you need that defense to make a play, despite all the investing they've done in free agency, all the investing they've done in the draft, that defense still gives it up. Still, to this day.

And what was likely the upset of the day, the commandos take down the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, and Price has a fumbling problem for the Seahawks, and that's going to be a thing. He basically got benched in the first half after a first quarter fumble, and that kind of took the wind out of the sails of the offense, even though this offense is so JSN heavy. It's surprising. Like look, I know JS JSN is good. I mean I did the top tens top ten wide receivers on this stream with uh Stephone and Steven a few weeks ago before the season and we all had JSN in our top five, I believe. So we know how good he is. It's amazing to me how he's able to get open and he's getting open with one-on-one coverage.

What aren't DC seeing? Why are you and yes, yes, you could do cloud coverage, bracket coverage, all that stuff, but that's not what I was seeing. I was seeing true one-on-one coverage. Why would you ever put One-on-one coverage on JSN. Are you daring him to prove it? Are you daring Sam Darnold to prove it? You would have Sam Darnold's job easier by allowing him to throw JSN open?

Is that a fruitful philosophy? Doesn't make sense, but they go down to the commandos. Commandos in Marcos Mariota were able to get it done. The Seahawks are not in trouble, but you just feel like last year was a one-year thing. They don't have the look of a champion. We could argue they probably didn't look like a champion last year, but still ended up being that. I don't see that type of magic happening two years in a row.

Jaguars destroyed the Patriots. Look, Drake May, as I mentioned earlier, you don't have the easiest schedule in the league anymore. Welcome back to reality. I think it's that simple and he can be on the sidelines and Ravel can hype him up and try to console him like he was Diana Rossini. It does it just doesn't matter. It does not matter. That Patriots team is not good.

If you look at the offense since uh AJ Brown went down, it's been inept. And it makes sense. They built everything off the fact of we're adding AJ Brown to this offense. And then AJ Brown gets hurt in the first game So yeah, that offense that was built around having a number one wide receiver is gonna look like shit when that number one wide receiver is not there because your other receivers are not AJ Brown. 49ers take care of the Cardinals. That was a nothing burger for the most part, but Brock Purdy continues to play at a high level Buccaneers and Vikings, Vikings. This is more about the Bucks.

Baker Mayfield hurt his thumb, I believe, I think it was. And the Bucks were in trouble Again, another team that was playing with house money over the last couple of years because they were playing at such a bad division and take advantage of a soft schedule because you're playing such trash teams in your in your division. Now the Panthers are better. Now the Saints are better. That division ain't a cakewalk. You gave all that money to Baker Mayfield, then we had the uh analytics up. The value proposition is horrible.

Todd balls on the hot seat. Eh, we'll see. That's not a good job. I don't know who walks in and takes that job I mean it's an NFL job. You have to take it, but I don't know. No one's clamoring to go down to Tampa. That roster is not like that.

Over there in Rio de Janeiro, we had the Cowboys go down to the Ravens. A 56-yard field goal, field goal from Tyler Loop. He did a Ronaldo celebration and director cut away from it. Not knowing the moment there, really problematic. Um this game was very exciting at times. Derrick Henry I thought was gonna go off crazy, did not really go off to the level that you would think he would. Again, this game is more about the defense.

The defenses on each team, I won't say it's overrated because I don't think either one are actually good. They have good players, standout players on those defenses, but they don't have a good system on either side of the ball. on either on either side of the field. The Ravens defense always gives it up and they continue that trend today. And it's when do we get the narrative of how Lamar Jackson keeps rescuing the Ravens defense. When does that narrative e uh start to exist? When does the Lamar save this team and saves this defense week after week after week start to exist?

Because the offense will put up all these points through three quarters and the defense will play well through three quarters and then all of a sudden that fourth quarter starts and then the defense routinely just gives it up Which then puts the pressure back on Lamar to continue to drop 30 balls Are the Raiders for real? 3-0, the best start since 2021. They got back Bowers. That's huge for that offense. Gente in that run game, still trying to figure it out. That offensive line, they've made a lot of expensive improvements. Hasn't gelled as of yet, but certainly better than last year.

The Saints, if anything, they're exciting. The running back Etienne, or maybe A-chan, I think it's now how you how you're supposed to uh announce that and uh A-chan for the Dolphins, out for the year, by the way. Um, but Now they gotta dust off Alvin Camara, who seemed to just be rotting out the string of his career there. Now they gotta dust him off and put him back into action. Are the Raiders for real? No. But they've won more games than I thought they were gonna win this entire year.

So maybe we need to re-examine what the Raiders are. Mendoza might not sniff that field. If Kirk Hudson's gonna look like this and play like this, Mendoza's not sniffing that field. Especially when you look at the chargers or 0 and 3, right? Chargers are 0 and 3. Like you're you you at 3-0 I don't want to do playoff talk already, but we have to play at least the division aspect of it. Let's look at the AFC West.

Yeah, the Chargers are 0-3. Denver's 2-1. So let's go to schedule for the Raiders. Do they have an easy schedule? Can they ride this out? Chiefs, nope Patriots, hey, they could they might be able to get that done against Drake May. Buffalo, nope.

Rams. They're gonna have to score. Jets, they can beat the Jets. For the Niners, that's probably a loss. Seattle, eh, depends. Denver, that's not a cakewalk for Denver. Browns, they get beat the Browns.

Although Nastyman might be, if he mat if Nastyman is still hooping, maybe not. Chargers. They can beat the Chargers. This is not a horrible schedule. They and they end off with the Cardinals, then they get the Chiefs again I mean, low-key, it sounds crazy, that last game against the Chiefs could have playoff implications and even seeding implications, depending on what the Raiders do And then you had this Sunday night or last night where the Broncos take down the Rams. The Rams defense is not looking strong. Um Puka Nakua, they gotta figure that out in terms of when he's gonna get back into action because that offense is really predicated on having two really good top-tier wide receivers.

The run game is not as cohesive as it as it has been in years past. That defense is not Even though Miles Garrett's not there, even though Aaron Donald's still probably getting his C-lex underneath him, that D-line's not getting the pressure that you would think it would. I'm not gonna sit here and do the Rams are in trouble, but you know, that whole Rams thing of what we thought they were gonna be, it might not be that. Because we don't know when Miles Gary's gonna come back It might be week nine at the latest. If that's the case, then what do you do with that? Aaron Donald's gonna be playing like he was before he was retired in terms of getting double and triple team.
