Boston's own TV team used Jayson Tatum's zero-turnover night to dunk on Jaylen Brown for leading the league in turnovers. Problem is, Tatum has been top 12 in turnovers four years running himself, 209, 188, 213, and 217 turnovers a year, and Brian Scalabrine and Drew Carter just happened to have the exact stat loaded and ready to lob to each other on air.

No statistician handed them that number. This is the media double standard Jaylen Brown was actually talking about when he said Tatum has a great PR team, not a conspiracy theory, just Bill Simmons, The Ringer, Jackie MacMullan, Bob Ryan, and Boston's own broadcast running cover for one guy while burying the other.
